Alright, here’s the deal: Kiddo and I got obsessed with that 80s Kate Bush track and decided to flip it into something that’ll rattle your subwoofer.
If you’ve been anywhere near the internet lately, you know “Running Up That Hill” has been everywhere since that Netflix show dropped. But forget the 80s synths—we cranked this into full-on trance territory. We’re talking 138 BPM, proper build-ups, and a drop that hits like a truck.
Look, remixing Kate Bush is risky business. Purists will come at you with pitchforks. But after three Red Bulls and a weekend locked in my home studio, we ended up with something that actually slaps. No half-assed bedroom producer shit here—we pushed this through analog gear, tweaked the EQ curves until our ears bled, and mastered it to actually work in a club setting.
We stripped out most of the vocals, kept the iconic hook, and built everything else from scratch. The bassline’s all Prophet-6, drums are a mix of samples and our own processed hits, and yes, that’s a proper supersaw in the breakdown.
